Latest news
Dear patients,
Dear patients,
Dr. Mechthild Munt is going into well-deserved retirement on 1st of June 2025. We are delighted for her and would like to thank her most sincerely for the last eight years with us as a doctor, as a colleague and as a person! It is a big break for all of us and we will miss her power.
We are very happy that Ms. Noemi Thomas will be returning to our team as a specialist in general medicine from 1st of June 2025. Her commitment to the practice has been greatly appreciated by many patients over the past two years and will continue to be in great demand.
In recent years, we have always endeavoured to offer you a practice that is open almost continuously with prompt appointments and emergency care at short notice.
As a GP practice, we have to constantly adapt our appointment scheduling to current situations. Waiting times due to acute physical and psychological emergencies are unavoidable and often incomprehensible to you. Increasingly, people with serious complaints are coming to our practice who are unable to find a GP appointment elsewhere, which makes our scheduling more difficult. You can rest assured that we avoid waiting times wherever possible.
Due to the severe loss of practice income (fee payment approx. 75% for 100% work done!) and the resulting reduction in staff, we are sometimes understaffed. This sometimes leads to delays, enquiries or loss of comfort, as medical emergencies and safety always take priority. We ask for your understanding!
Take part in the GP programmes of your health insurance company! This will provide you with even better care (e.g. check-up every 2 years) and ensure the preservation of GP practices in Hamburg through full payment of fees and thus predictable financing of our team. Medical assistants should not have to do their responsible and often stressful work for minimum wage!
Patients with a flu-like infection are still required to wear a face mask in our practice. They are also asked to wait outside the practice until our staff ask them to come in.
EVERYONE is welcome in our practice – no place for racism and marginalisation !
Your practice team
You can book an acute appointment at our practice via the online booking portal Terminland. Acute appointments are 5-minute appointments where there is no free choice of doctor and only one short concern can be discussed/examined at a time (no travel vaccination advice etc.).
In order to provide you with good care, we ask all patients to adhere to the following rules:
- Please always make an appointment if possible – for acute consultations, please contact us directly at reception by 09:00 in the morning if possible. Please also make an appointment for vaccinations/blood samples.
- Please do not arrive too early for your appointment, otherwise you may have to wait in the cold or rain!
- Order prescriptions etc. long enough in advance (prescription telephone, e-mail or fax). In order to avoid mistakes, we no longer issue prescriptions etc. without an advance order.
- Our telephone lines are heavily overloaded. Please write us an e-mail (kontakt@rossbach-praxis.de), send us a fax (040 3806329) or speak your request to the prescription telephone (040 70298100), clearly stating your name and a call-back number.

Emergencies and acute complaints
5-minute acute appointment: We offer a daily acute consultation for acute complaints. Make an appointment via the KV portal (Tel:116117 or www.116117.de) or online booking (here on our website) or in person on the same morning at our registration desk (until 08:30-09:15, after that all appointments are usually taken and you would have to come back the next day). This is a 5-minute appointment for a short medical consultation (1 symptom or 1 question). There is no free choice of doctor.
Outside of consultation hours, please contact:
emergency practice at Stresemannstraße 54, 22769 HH

Ambulance 112
Police 110
Appointments
Normal appointment: Make an appointment by telephone (or answering machine with callback request), by e-mail, via the contact field on this website or in person at the registration desk a few days in advance. You can make a normal appointment for a check-up or similar with the doctor of your choice at a time that suits you. Normal appointment patients do not normally have to wait in line.
We allocate fixed appointments in advance for blood tests, vaccinations, preventive and functional examinations, etc.
We ask you to pre-order prescriptions, referrals and other prescriptions in good time, but no later than the day before by email or by calling our prescription hotline on 040 70298100. In order to use our uncomplicated ordering service, your health insurance card must have been scanned by us in advance (e.g. at the beginning of the quarter). Your medication has recently been saved as an e-prescription. You can collect them from the pharmacy of your choice later that evening or the next day on presentation of your health insurance card. In most cases, a paper printout is no longer necessary.
Home visits
Only in urgent cases do we make home visits by telephone after a doctor’s decision.
