Latest news
Dear patients,
On Thursday 11th of December our Practice will be closed after 12:00h (noon).
This year, we will be taking our Christmas holidays from 19 December 2025 to 1 January 2026. Emergency consultations for acute complaints between the holidays will take place on 29 and 30 December 2025 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. On the remaining days, Dr. Stern and Dr. Saliu will be covering for us at Max-Brauer-Allee 52, 22765 Hamburg, tel.: 040 380 83 580. We look forward to being there for you again from 2 January 2026!
The electronic vaccination certificate, which is recognised internationally at all borders and airports, is finally available here! Please download the “ImpfPassDE” app now. For further information, see “Our treatment”.
In addition, it is now possible for your health insurance company to send us an electronic replacement certificate (electronic membership certificate, “eEB”) as proof of insurance. Unlike the previous replacement certificate, this is considered a genuine replacement for the insurance card, meaning that you do not need to submit the card for the quarter. If you submit a conventional proof of insurance, the old rule remains valid and we will require your health insurance card for the quarter in question and you will have to leave your deposit as before until the card has been scanned. You will find our practice code for the eEB below “online appointments” and at the bottom of our website in the green “Contact” box.
We would like to remind you that eEB should not lead to patients suffering from chronic illnesses or taking long-term medication ordering their medication on an ongoing basis without undergoing the necessary blood tests and medical examinations. As a rule of thumb, patients taking a single long-term medication should have blood tests and consultations at least once a year, while those taking multiple medications should have blood tests and consultations at least every six months or even every three months. Special medications may require much more frequent checks. If you are unsure, please always ask our doctors for their recommendations.
Over the last few years, we have been able to offer you an almost continuously open practice with prompt appointments and emergency care at short notice. As a GP practice, we have to constantly adapt our appointment scheduling to current situations. Waiting times due to acute physical and psychological emergencies are unavoidable but often incomprehensible to you. Increasingly, people come to our practice with serious complaints who cannot find a GP appointment elsewhere, which makes our scheduling difficult. You can rest assured that we avoid waiting times wherever possible.
Due to severe losses in practice income and the resulting necessary reduction in staff, we are working understaffed. This leads to delays and loss of comfort, as medical emergencies and safety always take priority. We ask for your understanding! Please take part in the GP programmes of your health insurance company! This will give you even better care (e.g. check-up every 2 years) and ensure that the GP practices in Hamburg are maintained!
Patients with a flu-like infection are still required to wear a face mask in our practice. They are also asked to wait outside the practice until our staff ask them to come in.
EVERYONE is welcome in our practice – no place for racism and marginalisation !

Online-Appointments
Code for Transmission electronic Membership certificate (eEB)
For new patients :
you can only book an online appointment with us via the KV booking portal (no double-appointments acceptet!): www.116117-termine.de
After clicking the link, proceed as follows:
Do you have a referral code (Vermittlungscode)? select NO (NEIN), select speciality (Fachrichtung) General Medicine (HAUSARZT), select (PLZ) postcode 22767, enter your e-mail address twice and click on Continue. You will then receive a PIN by e-mail, which you enter on the booking page. After entering it, you can book appointments with the doctors in our practice (Roßbach, Thomas, Schlichting, Teising).
Only for our registered patients:
In order to always offer you short-term doctor appointments, patients can book an acute appointment (no double appointments) via our online booking portal (button below). Acute appointments are 5-minute short appointments where there is no free choice of doctor and only a brief concern can be discussed/examined (no travel vaccination advice, etc.).
As online appointment booking has sometimes led to non-digitally savvy patients being disadvantaged, a maximum of two online appointments per patient per quarter may now be booked (additional appointments will not be booked and will be allocated to other patients. After two online appointments per quarter, patients with urgent concerns must register in person at our practice shortly before 9 a.m.).
In order to provide you with good care, we ask all patients to adhere to the following rules:
- Please always make an appointment if possible – for acute consultations, please contact us directly at reception by 09:00 in the morning if possible. Please also make an appointment for vaccinations/blood samples.
- Please only use our service for short-notice online-appointments for urgent matters..
- Please do not arrive too early for your appointment, otherwise you may have to wait in the cold or rain!
- Order prescriptions etc. long enough in advance (prescription telephone, e-mail or fax). In order to avoid mistakes, we no longer issue prescriptions etc. without an advance order.
- Our telephone lines are heavily overloaded. Please write us an e-mail (kontakt@rossbach-praxis.de), send us a fax (040 3806329) or speak your request to the prescription telephone (040 70298100), clearly stating your name and a call-back number.

We offer a daily acute consultation for acute complaints. This is a 5-minute appointment for a short medical consultation (1 symptom or 1 question). There is no free choice of doctor.

standard Appointments
Make an appointment by telephone (or answering machine with callback request), by e-mail, via the contact field on this website or in person at the registration desk a few days in advance. You can make a normal appointment for a check-up or similar with the doctor of your choice at a time that suits you. Normal appointment patients do not normally have to wait in line.
We allocate fixed appointments in advance for blood tests, vaccinations, preventive and functional examinations, etc.
We ask you to pre-order prescriptions, referrals and other prescriptions in good time, but no later than the day before by email or by calling our prescription hotline on 040 70298100. In order to use our uncomplicated ordering service, your health insurance card must have been scanned by us in advance (e.g. at the beginning of the quarter). Your medication has recently been saved as an e-prescription. You can collect them from the pharmacy of your choice later that evening or the next day on presentation of your health insurance card. In most cases, a paper printout is no longer necessary.

Only in urgent cases do we make home visits by telephone after a doctor’s decision.
